The Year Of the Covid-19 Pandemic
On a personal level, as a photographer, I was limited in my ability to interact with my clients and operate in a business as usual manner. Isolation, social distancing and PPE, made it virtually impossible to conduct portrait and photography workshop sessions. The challenge for me was to create images working within the limitations and restrictions the pandemic imposed. As I began doing that, I compiled a collection of different photographs that represented my mindset and creative thoughts, at different points throughout the year. The book contains over 70 images taken in and around my small rural town and in my home studio. It is my vision of everyday people, everyday objects and everyday places photographed during these unprecedented times.
