The first business profile on OC LOOK features Angelo Amiano, Owner of Reflections Personal Image and Body Design Studio, located in Pine Bush, NY.  His studio occupies a quaint store front building that dates back to 1851, located in the heart of the downtown historic district of Pine Bush. Upon entering the salon, you are greeted by Angelo and a single red salon chair, a literal and symbolic expression of his passion to provide his clients with something that is becoming more difficult to find, personal one on one professional service. Personalized service combined with 24 years of experience, is the cornerstone on which Angelo has built his business. At Reflections, “Personal service” is not just a slogan, it’s a business model that Angelo puts into action on a daily basis, that truly defines his studio.  

Angelo personally performs all of the salon’s services for each and every client.  This level of focus and interaction enables him to gain deeper insight into each of his client’s individual needs and provide them with an exceptional and satisfying personal care experience.

As a Cosmetologist, Hair Stylist and Massage Therapist, Angelo takes pride in offering his clients what he calls “A total mind, body and soul experience.”  Inspired by his mother’s battle with breast cancer, Angelo became interested in providing his services to women suffering with this disease, struggling with their identity due to hair loss.  This cause also inspired him to expand his services to include Swedish Massage, realizing the equal importance and the effect one’s inner being has on their physical appearance.   

In addition to his certifications, Angelo brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to his craft, with a diverse background that includes working for ABC’s television soap opera “All My Children” as a hair stylist and as a model in NYC.

Angelo also continuously updates his skills and product knowledge by attending workshops and seminars two to three times a year.  

Angelo could have opened his business in any metropolitan location, but seeing it’s potential and wanting to work in a close-knit community, he chose Orange County.  Angelo is a member of The Orange County Chamber of Commerce, The Pine Bush Chamber of Commerce and is involved in several charities including, Relay for Life and the Boys and Girls Club of Orange County.
