Early Morning Color

While walking my dog yesterday morning, I witnessed this beautiful play of light between a cloud filled dark blue sky and a tungsten lit church steeple, that was just begging to be photographed. With the sun rising and unsure if the spotlight was on a timer, I knew the scene could quickly change, so I hurried back with camera in hand, to fire off a few shots. 

I mounted a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR on my Nikon D610, set a tungsten white balance to match to the steeple spotlight, that also rendered the early morning sky a deeper blue.
