Just Look Up

Often when you are in familiar surroundings, it's easy to be uninspired when you're searching for
something new or different to photograph. But are you really seeing all there is to see? There is a building that I pass several times a day, that at a casual glance, is not unique and wouldn't give you pause to stop and photograph it. Because I usually drive by this building, my sight is limited by the narrow view through my car windows. The other day, while taking a walk past that same building and being much closer to it, I happened to look up and suddenly was very inspired. So what was different? What changed was my perspective. Seeing it at eye level didn't present what I would think be a photo opportunity. Moving closer and changing my angle of view, made all the difference. With the help of a cloudy sky, here are some of the results I was able to achieve just by changing my shooting angle.
